Database Descriptions

Citation database: The purpose of this database is to allow searches for the Author, Title, Publication Year, and in the case of Journal references, the Journal Name of all reference types. No further detail is given beyond the citation.

Reviewed database: This database allows a more comprehensive search, because of the details it contains within each of the reviewed references. Beyond the citation, additional information is provided in the 'Notes' field, describing:

The threat status to the forest type/ecosystem

  • Summary of results
  • Impact on biodiversity
  • Climate scenarios adopted
  • Climate change details
  • Time slice considered
  • Models used
  • Key features of the study (including key assumptions)
  • Predictions of forest response
  • Further cited references

Each reference also contains other fields including: Keywords, WCMC Forest Category, Forest Type (given by the reference), Region and Type of Study, providing a more specific and broader search capability.
