UNEP-WCMC's Forest Programme produces integrated and accessible information
on the conservation of the world's forests and their biodiversity, as
well as providing support in managing this information.
Latest Products and Updates:
Our information resources and services are available
through the following sections:

- Analysis for Decision-making: Trends
and Indicators - analyses and syntheses of forest data to facilitate
policy and decision-making, including: priority areas for forest conservation
in relation to climate change (Forests in Flux); putting development
and forest conservation in context using poverty indicators (Poverty
Mapping - internet map server - coming soon); trends in forest area
and forest ecosystem status in the last 30 years (Living Planet Index);
conservation status of European forests (European Forest Gap Analysis
