The UNEP-WCMC Forest Programme collaborates with a wide range of organisations, both formally and informally. It is involved in international initiatives to raise awareness and promote networking on forest conservation issues, including:

• The Tropical Montane Cloud Forest Initiative
• The Global Trees Campaign
• IUFRO's Global Forest Information Service (GFIS) - UNEP-WCMC is one of a number of core organisations on the IUFRO GFIS Taskforce, whose aim is to develop and implement an Internet-based metadata system that will provide coordinated access to forest information.

Among our collaborators are: WWF, IUCN, FSC, CIFOR, IIED, WRI, DFID.
