Biographical Sketch:

Wilson Crone is Assistant Professor of Biology at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. His biological interests have a general focus on organismal biology. He was first at Duke University, pursuing B.A. (in botany and medieval and Renaissance studies) and M.D. degrees. Wilson then moved to the laboratory of Elizabeth Lord at the University of California, Riverside to complete a Ph.D. in flower development. He extended those studies with a postdoc in Carl McDaniel's lab at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY), before assuming his current position. Dr. Crone now teaches subjects literally ranging from anatomy (for physician assistant students) to zoology (for physical education majors), taking advantage of both his clinical and botanical backgrounds.
