CTPM Root systems

          [Previous] [Index] [Next]

Root systems responding to their own uptake of water or nutrients: the parameter for rate of uptake was set high for the first simulation (upper image) and low for the second (lower image), all other parameters being held constant. The translucent surface connects points in the soil which have the same water status.
