Lignin. Each bundle contains a ring of Xylem which surrounds a core of Phloem. The Cortex is composed of Parenchyma. An STM is located between the cortex and the vascular bundles. |

| Each Vascular Bundle is composed of an outer ring of Xylem and a Core of Phloem (Amphivasal). The Xylem stains blue and the Phloem is Pink. |
