Dry Dehiscent Fruits-2

A Legume is a Dry Dehiscent Fruit that Splits along
two Sutures. The Fabaceae which is one of the largest families of flowering plants, was once called the Leguminosae due the the fruit which is characteristic of this taxon. There are many cultivated and native representatives of this family in Hawaii.
