Reconstruction of a swamp with horsetail trees in the Upper-Carboniferous (Pennsylvanian)

In the Northern Zoo in Emmen (The Netherlands) you will find this beautiful reconstruction in the Biochron.
There are several types of Calamites trees. The type in the picture is called Stylocalamites, which had only few branches.
