Wettinia mayensis

Synonymy: Unknown Distribution: South America
Common names: Wettinia palm Conservation status: Unknown

High altitude South American palm from heavy rainfall areas; unbelievably beautiful when viewed in their
wet and steep mountain habitat. In cultivation they require humidity, plenty of water and a rich soil. Not
the easiest of palms to grow but if you like a challenge, the result is well worth the effort.
