Ceroxylon ventricosum
Synonymy: Unknown | Distribution: South America |
Common names: Andean wax palm | Conservation status: Unknown |
This species is larger than most Ceroxylon and has a swollen trunk, in nature covered with white wax from
which the plants take their common name. Again, use acid soil, and provide moist conditions. Fabulous and
cool tolerant mountain palm.
