- - Useful dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, handbooks, etc.
- - Books and journals supporting research and teaching in Biology Department
Services to undergraduates:
- - Assistance with locating and using library materials
- - Assistance using information from various network (internet) sources
- - Preparation of lists of sources about topics you specify, by appointment
(usually at no charge)
- - Delivery of materials from West Campus Library on request
- - Access to books or journal articles not owned at WU (Interlibrary
Loan), (delivery usually within 2-3 weeks of request)
- - Referrals to useful local library resources such as WU Medical School,
WU Chemistry, Missouri Botanical Garden, etc.
Facilities for undergraduates:
- - Terminals with printers for accessing WorldWindow and other local
computing resources,
- - Multimedia workstations for access to graphics, video and sound internet
files and for using CD-ROMs,
- - VHS video viewing stations,
- - Photocopiers (operated with vendacards from Olin Library or coins),
- - Stapler, papercutter, pencil sharpener, bookmarks, scratch paper,
3-hole punch, limited study space, limited change, campus maps, restrooms
Rules:
- - WU ID required to check materials out of the library
- - No eating please
- - Return materials promptly, especially when needed by other students
