The comparative histologically analysis of the pericarp of the different cultivars of tomato growth in vivo indicates that carpela consists from such morphological parts as cortical tissue, placenta and its derivates - locular tissue which differ between them with such parameters: duration of proliferate period, citomorphological specificity of starch accumulation and peculiarities structures of maturation. In vitro it was inoculated carpoexplants of cortical tissue, placenta and locular tissue from s that carpela as structural unit is functional determinated, fact which is confirmed by the biological maturation in vitro, analogically in vivo.
