Endophyte infected and free plants were collected from fields in Japan. These plants are Festuca, Lolium, Poa, Agrostis, Phleum, Elymus, glyceria genus and so on. Endophyte infected plants leaves were cut off away, and they were sterilized. After that, they were laid in the PDA media and endophyte were isolated. These fungi were researched by the culture method on the slide glass. Many endophyte were Neotyphodium type. At persent, we are analyzing of alkaloids from these endophyte infected.
