Cololejeunea formosana Mizut., whose correct name is C. ceratilobula (P. C. Chen) R. M. Schust., was earlier considered as synonymous with C. reineckeana Steph. but belongs to C. subg. Chlorocolea, whereas C. reineckeana is a member of C. subg. Pedinolejeunea. A description and illustration of C. reineckeana are provided.
