Types are cited for accepted names and synonyms published in Ampelocissus (4 species) and Cissus (20 species), and concerning Central American, N. American or Caribbean taxa. Several lectotypes, neotypes and epitypes are newly designated. Three new combinations (for one species and two subspecies) are proposed.
